Serco, a multinational organization operating across Transport, Defence, and Advisory sectors in the Middle East, is looking for a Senior Bid Manager to manage complex bids from qualification through to contract award. The role involves leading the solution design, value proposition development, strategy formulation, and partner identification, while ensuring high-quality bids are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bid Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end bid lifecycle, including strategy development, solution design, and risk management.

• Team Leadership: Motivate and lead high-performing bid teams, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and timely bid delivery.

• Commercial Leadership: Manage commercial discussions, including pricing, partner selection, and client negotiations.

• Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitor reviews, market intelligence, and stakeholder analysis.

• Internal Governance: Navigate bids through Serco’s internal governance process, ensuring approvals are obtained at each stage.

• Growth Strategy: Create and implement winning bid strategies to secure growth and development for Serco’s regional business.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 7 years of experience managing complex, high-value bids (ideally GBP 20m+).

• A degree or equivalent professional qualification.

• Programme/project management experience.

• Experience in government/quasi-government contracting.

• Knowledge of sectors such as Citizen Services, Justice & Immigration, Defence, Airport Operations, Asset Management, and Fire Rescue Services (desirable).

• Strong commercial, negotiation, and leadership skills.
