Spinnaker is seeking an Operations Manager (Bulk) for their Dubai office to oversee the operations of a fleet of bulk vessels. This is a leadership position within the maritime sector, requiring strong operational experience in bulk shipping, with responsibility for scheduling, route planning, and ensuring compliance with safety and maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of a bulk vessel fleet.

• Oversee scheduling, route planning, and operational efficiency.

• Coordinate with vessel masters, port authorities, and clients.

• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.

• Build and develop a capable operations team.

• Collaborate with the Head of Chartering to optimize fleet deployment.

• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in maritime operations management.

• Seagoing background is a significant advantage.

• In-depth knowledge of bulk shipping operations and procedures.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure.

• Commercial awareness and cost-control focus.

• Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
