The Advanced Paramedic will provide emergency services to patients, ensuring the safe transport to hospitals and responding to critical incidents. The role involves documenting cases, monitoring response times, and distributing ambulance staff based on geographical regions and performance indicators.
Responsibilities:

Achieve medical quality and patient safety

Apply medical policies and protocols
-
Provide infection control and safely manage persons in distress

Offer emotional support and practical assistance to victims
-
Conduct primary and secondary assessments of injuries in the field
-
Handle life-threatening injuries and critical medical cases
-
Provide advanced ECG analysis, airway management, and parenteral nutrition
-
Deal with childbirth and pediatric injuries
-
Offer basic and advanced first aid for cardiac arrest
-
Mentor new employees and participate in professional development
-
Contribute to strategic planning, quality improvement, and goal setting for clinical care
-
Develop policies and procedures for medical equipment and supplies
-
Distribute medical staff across shifts and geographical areas based on performance metrics

Submit periodic performance reports
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Paramedicine/Emergency Medical Services (minimum three-year course duration)
-
Valid BLS, ACLS & PALS Certificates & Trauma Certificate (PHTLS or ITLS)
Experience:
-
Minimum two (2) years of experience post-qualification as an Advanced Care Paramedic
