Job Title: Senior Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Financial Accounting to join one of Sudan’s most reputable and established Islamic banks. This is an excellent opportunity for a financial expert with a deep understanding of Islamic banking principles to contribute to the continued growth and success of a prestigious institution.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the bank’s financial reporting and accounting functions, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. You will ensure compliance with AAOIFI and IFRS standards, prepare financial statements, and oversee consolidation and cash flow reports. The position demands leadership, a thorough understanding of financial regulations, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, including consolidation of financial data.

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with AAOIFI and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

• Generate monthly financial reports, consolidation reports, and cash flow analysis.

• Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all month-end, quarter-end, year-end, and tax-related reports.

• Lead the financial accounting team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.

• Ensure the bank’s financial processes and procedures are aligned with industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Open to Arabic nationals up to 38 years old.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in the financial and banking sector, with a preference for experience in Islamic banking or with an international bank.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of AAOIFI and IFRS standards and financial regulations.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
