Job Title: Medical Coder

Job Description:

Fatorah Insurance Claims Settlement L.L.C is seeking a qualified and detail-driven Medical Coder to join our team in Dubai, specializing in both Inpatient and Outpatient (IP/OP) medical coding. This is a critical role focused on ensuring accurate coding and error-free claim submissions in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.

As a key member of our medical claims team, you will interpret clinical documentation, assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes, and collaborate closely with healthcare providers and insurance teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Assign correct ICD-10 and CPT codes for inpatient and outpatient services based on clinical documentation.

• Review and verify patient records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

• Ensure all coding activities follow DHA, MOH, and UAE insurance guidelines.

• Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and insurance providers for clarification or resubmission of claims.

• Monitor and manage denied claims, supporting the appeals process where required.

• Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Coding, Health Information Management, or related field.

• Professional certifications preferred: CPC, CCS, or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in coding both inpatient and outpatient medical records.

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures.

• Familiarity with UAE insurance systems such as Daman, Neuron, NAS, Nextcare is an advantage.

• High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
