Technip Energies, a global engineering and technology leader in sustainable energy, is hiring a Senior Planning Engineer for its Abu Dhabi office. Reporting directly to the Head of Department, this full-time, on-site role involves overseeing project scheduling and progress control across various engineering phases such as Feasibility, FEED, Detail Engineering, and EPC. The role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery using advanced tools like Primavera and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project schedules from concept through handover stages.

• Prepare planning deliverables: Baseline Schedule, EDDR, S-Curve, Manpower Histogram, Calendar, Deployment Plan.

• Generate weekly/monthly progress and MIS reports.

• Prepare cost reports using Earned Value Management techniques.

• Support proposal teams with bid schedules and manpower plans.

• Conduct schedule risk analysis and mitigation planning.

• Analyze Cost and Schedule Performance Index (CPI, SPI).

• Coordinate with engineering leads on schedule and progress-related issues.

• Actively support change management and decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.

• Minimum 8 years of engineering planning experience across all project stages.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analyzer, Acumen Fuse, MS Project, Power BI, MS Excel, and related tools.

• Strong understanding of project risk management, resource planning, and performance tracking metrics.

• Fluent in English with excellent communication and coordination skills.
