HARDCO GROUP, a multidisciplinary company with over four decades of excellence in civil and structural engineering, is hiring a Division Manager – Steel Structures. This hybrid, full-time role is responsible for overseeing steel fabrication and installation projects, ensuring project quality, budget management, and leading the steel structures division to new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee steel fabrication & installation progress, ensuring project quality and budget adherence.

• Make strategic decisions and provide leadership to the team.

• Manage steel estimation and sales teams, ensuring smooth coordination between departments.

• Identify opportunities, prepare bids, and manage project handovers.

• Lead the team in winning new contracts and driving business growth.

• Manage design, engineering, and detailing activities as needed.

• Work with external consultants for Design & Build projects.

• Appoint and manage sub-contractors and key suppliers.

• Use MS Project/Primavera for project planning, tracking, and execution.

• Monitor construction progress to avoid delays and ensure quality.

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control.

• Address project planning issues and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar role within the steel structure industry.

• In-depth knowledge of steel structure design, fabrication, and erection.

• Experience managing projects valued at AED 50 Million or more.

• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and authorities (Dubai, SHJ Municipality, DDA, Trakhees).

• Experience with FIDIC contracts and project risk management.

• Proven experience working with leading construction consultants (e.g., AECOM, Parsons, Atkins).
