Job Title: Retail Cashier 

Job Description:

We are looking for a Retail Cashier to join our team in Dubai and deliver an exceptional shopping experience through accurate transactions, warm customer service, and strong teamwork. As the first point of contact for many customers, you’ll play a key role in promoting a positive store atmosphere while handling payments and assisting with inquiries.

Your responsibilities will range from answering product and pricing questions to maintaining the checkout area and supporting daily store operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude, creating a welcoming shopping experience.

• Handle customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and promotions.

• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately, processing transactions efficiently.

• Ensure accurate balancing of cash drawers and transaction records.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout counter and surrounding area.

• Assist in merchandise restocking and display upkeep near the cashier zone.

• Adhere to company policies and security protocols to prevent theft and fraud.

• Collaborate with store team members to address customer issues and support smooth operations.

• Use product knowledge to upsell and guide customers in making purchase decisions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a retail environment.

• High attention to detail in pricing, quantity, and transaction accuracy.

• Quick adaptability to new POS systems and retail technologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of store products and ability to recommend or upsell effectively.

• Positive attitude, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
