Interior CAD Draughtsman – Interiors & Joinery

🏢 About the Role:

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client is seeking highly skilled Interior & Joinery CAD Draughtsmen for immediate onboarding. You’ll be instrumental in executing high-profile new build projects across Dubai, particularly within mall and retail developments.

This is a contract-based position (3–6 months) through J10 Consulting, with potential for full-time staff conversion after the initial term.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site measurements to create accurate layout plans for client approval

• Produce detailed technical drawings, including joinery and MEP elements

• Ensure timely client approvals for all drawings, samples, and BOQs

• Liaise with regulatory authorities (DM, DCD, JAFZA, DDA, TRAKHEES, NAKHEEL, DEWA) for permits and documentation

• Prepare and revise drawings based on site conditions and inspections

• Assist design team with as-built DWGs, and support project handover documentation

• Coordinate with operations for site marking and mobilization

• Track drawing submissions, obtain completion reports, and assist in final inspections

📋 Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in CAD drafting for interiors and joinery

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and joinery detailing is essential

• Experience with main contractors is mandatory

• Strong advantage if experienced in mall/retail fit-outs or interior mega projects in the UAE

• Solid understanding of local authority regulations and documentation standards
