Pearson is seeking a Regional Development Manager for the Gulf region. This role involves supporting schools, growing Pearson Edexcel’s presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction by solving problems and offering exceptional support. The manager will act as an ambassador for Pearson and build key relationships across the education landscape in the Gulf. The role also includes strategic planning, business analysis, and developing accurate forecasts for assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector across the Gulf

• Support and grow Pearson Edexcel’s presence in schools, offering problem-solving and high-level support

• Formulate strategic and operational plans based on market trends and customer demands

• Utilize management tools to analyze data and make informed business decisions

• Develop accurate forecasts for assigned accounts

• Ensure customer satisfaction through consultative selling and a responsive approach to customer needs

Key Qualifications:

• Degree level or equivalent education, fluent in English, and proficient in Microsoft Office

• Teaching experience, ideally in an international context (essential)

• Experience in business development (desirable)

• Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong problem-solving skills

• Strong knowledge of trends in the education sector in the Gulf region

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Comfortable with data analysis and using it for decision-making
