Robert Walters is seeking an experienced Governance Manager for a well-known entity in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing secretarial support to the Board, Board Executive Committee, and Nomination and Remuneration Committee, ensuring corporate governance processes are effectively implemented and followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and organize meetings for the Board, Board Executive Committee, and Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

• Prepare agendas, track action items, and compile meeting papers.

• Draft minutes of meetings and ensure follow-up on action items.

• Promote and update standards and procedures by coordinating with divisional managers.

• Prepare documentation, guidelines, and conduct promotional activities for governance initiatives.

• Monitor compliance with governance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 15+ years of experience in Corporate Governance within large listed corporations.

• Familiarity with UAE experience and SCA regulations.

• Ability to manage complex company structures and multiple senior stakeholders.
