• Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), the largest tertiary hospital in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate clinical practice operations. Reporting to the Administrative Leader, this role is pivotal in aligning departmental operations with SSMC’s vision and strategic goals while ensuring excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with institutional goals.

• Oversee outpatient, inpatient, procedure, and treatment area operations.

• Lead staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.

• Manage departmental budgets, procurement, and resource planning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance patient care and staff efficiency.

• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards including Joint Commission requirements.

• Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement cost-saving strategies.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary meetings, manage documentation, and foster a collaborative work culture.

• Serve as a key representative for the department in internal and external forums.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Healthcare or Business).

• Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare management experience.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, budgeting, and statistical tools.
