UMATR is hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a fast-growing Proptech start-up in Dubai. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping the company’s tech strategy, overseeing product development, and leading innovation across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a hands-on tech leader, capable of managing teams while actively contributing to technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of scalable, secure, and high-performing web and mobile platforms.

• Define and execute a robust technology roadmap aligned with business growth goals.

• Build and mentor a high-performing development team focused on innovation.

• Oversee platform architecture, performance tuning, and cybersecurity compliance.

• Work closely with the executive team to align technical and business strategies.

• Drive integration of AI/ML for personalization and operational optimization.

• Manage tech operations, including budgets, vendors, and third-party services.

• Continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and user experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior tech leadership roles in start-ups or tech-led companies.

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), full-stack development, and software architecture.

• Experience with AI/ML systems, data analytics, or recommendation engines is a plus.

• Successful track record in scaling platforms from MVP to large user bases.

• Deep understanding of performance optimization, system scalability, and secure development practices.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a founder-like mindset.

• Familiarity with e-commerce, fintech, proptech, travel, or mobility industries is advantageous.
