Saipem is seeking a Quality Officer responsible for ensuring all EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) activities align with project quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. The ideal candidate will monitor quality processes, conduct inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality project execution. This role requires a strong focus on quality assurance, inspections, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure EPC activities comply with company quality standards, project specifications, and industry regulations (ISO 9001, ASME, API, etc.)

• Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and policies

• Support project teams in maintaining compliance with client and regulatory requirements

• Conduct quality control inspections on materials, fabrication, welding, painting, and other construction activities

• Verify compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans (QCPs)

• Identify areas for quality improvement and suggest process enhancements

• Conduct training sessions on quality procedures and best practices for EPC teams

• Maintain and update quality records, inspection reports, and test results

• Assist in preparing quality-related documentation for client approvals

• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings

• Identify non-conformances and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (NCRs & CAPA)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• UAE National

• Familiarity with EPC activities and quality control processes

• Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 9001, ASME, API)

• Experience in quality assurance, inspections, and audits in the engineering or construction industry is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues and improvement opportunities

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
