Gilbane Building Company is looking for a Project Controls Specialist II to join their team in Dubai. This role involves supporting cost and schedule management for US federal construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with cost control, scheduling, and managing large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and understand project contracts to assist with cost controls and scheduling activities

• Develop and maintain relationships within the project team

• Monitor and communicate budget, cost status, and forecast costs for projects

• Implement change control procedures and support the project team with change identification and costing

• Provide timely and accurate cost data for reports and client invoicing

• Assist in developing project work plans and schedules

• Contribute to schedule risk analysis and prepare schedule analysis narratives

• Identify cost trends and provide recommendations for action

• Develop accurate project forecasts with input from project team members

• Provide technical guidance to less experienced project controls staff

Qualifications:

• BS or AA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

• 8+ years of progressive experience in project controls

• Managed at least two projects valued at $40M USD or more using Primavera P6

• Experience with change management, preparing TIAs, and participating in claims and proposals

• Experience with US federal construction is a plus

• Proficient in scheduling and cost management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Deltek Acumen Fuse, etc.)
