KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, is hiring a Business Development Manager – Modernization Major Projects to drive growth across the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey. Based in Dubai, this on-site, full-time role focuses on developing long-term asset management strategies, identifying modernization opportunities, and delivering tailored digital solutions that enhance the residual value of clients’ assets.

This role is ideal for a strategic, results-oriented professional experienced in handling complex projects and building long-term partnerships in the construction, real estate, or elevator modernization sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and drive new business opportunities for modernization across designated regions.

• Manage early-stage sales funnel activities, increasing market share and profitability.

• Promote KONE’s digital offerings and tailor modernization solutions to client needs.

• Lead high-level meetings, negotiations, and stakeholder engagements to secure major projects.

• Document and manage customer and market intelligence via CRM systems.

• Provide accurate data and insights for regular business reviews.

• Support specific business segments such as infrastructure, hospitality, and commercial buildings.

• Handle large-scale, complex business development or implementation projects.

• Apply strategic planning, competitive analysis, and risk management in project execution.

• May lead or develop internal teams in line with business growth initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

• Demonstrated success in business performance and project development.

• Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

• Strong understanding of cost control, business planning, and risk analysis.

• Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.

• Strategic, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in teams.

• Experience in elevator modernization is a strong advantage.

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
