Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Engineer to manage the financial and contractual aspects of high-end villa renovation and new build projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cost estimation, contract administration, and project budgeting, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution of construction and interior fit-out works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pre- and post-contract activities for villa renovation and interior fit-out projects.

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation based on project specifications and drawings.

  • Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for best value and negotiate terms.

  • Conduct cost analysis, risk assessments, and prepare progress reports and cash flow forecasts.

  • Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to align scope and budget.

  • Monitor ongoing project costs, prepare payment applications, and ensure timely certifications.

  • Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.

  • Participate in project meetings to provide updates on budget, progress, and cost control strategies.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in pre- and post-contract functions, ideally within interior fit-out, renovation, or civil construction sectors.

  • Proficient in preparing BOQs and cost estimates for Civil, MEP, and Interior works.

  • Strong knowledge of contract management, claims, and construction law.

  • Familiar with industry-standard measurement methods (POMI, CESMM, NRMs, etc.).

  • Skilled in using MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, SAP/ERP, and estimation software like CCS (Candy), CostX, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project coordination skills.
