• NOV is hiring a Project Engineering Manager to lead and oversee complex engineering projects within the oil and gas sector. This full-time role based in Dubai requires a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in EPC environments and a deep understanding of process treatment systems, mechanical engineering, and project coordination.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring timely project execution, client communication, and adherence to budget and quality standards. Coordination with procurement, construction, QA/QC, and subcontractors is key, along with active participation in engineering reviews, technical bid evaluations, and change proposal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering scope, schedule, and resources from conception to completion.

• Lead engineering coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments.

• Approve technical documents including drawings, specs, and requisitions.

• Oversee document control, engineering procedures, and design standards.

• Interface with procurement, vendors, and support technical evaluations (TBE).

• Address client comments and ensure scope alignment.

• Participate in risk reduction, process improvements, and team mentoring.

• Travel internationally up to 20% for critical project phases.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• 15+ years’ experience in the oil & gas industry, ideally in both brownfield and greenfield EPC projects.

• Strong exposure to process technology and managing third-party contractors.

• Proficiency in mechanical/static equipment engineering, including materials like CS, LTCS, SS, Clad, LAS, and HAS.

• Familiarity with special applications (Hydrogen, Cryogenic, Wet Sour, HIC, NACE MR0175).

• Strong knowledge of engineering codes/standards and design procedures.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills in multinational settings.

• Proactive mindset with high-level problem-solving and decision-making ability.
