Job Title: Medical Coding Specialist – Revenue Cycle Management

Job Description:

We are looking for a Medical Coding Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. This role ensures accurate assignment and verification of diagnosis and procedure codes in compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) e-claims guidelines. You will be responsible for coding inpatient, day surgery, and outpatient encounters, while supporting preauthorization processes and maintaining data integrity for hospital claims.

Key Responsibilities:

🩺 Medical Coding & Compliance

• Assign and verify diagnosis and procedure codes according to coding guidelines and DHA e-claims regulations.

• Ensure compliance with ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.

• Abstract relevant data from inpatient, day surgery, and outpatient encounters.

📑 Preauthorization & Claims Processing

• Assist in assigning procedure codes, diagnosis codes, and HCPCS codes at the preauthorization level.

• Support the Revenue Cycle Management Department in accurate claim submissions.

📊 Data Integrity & Reporting

• Maintain high data accuracy for reporting and analytics.

• Ensure completeness and consistency in patient records.

🤝 Collaboration & Compliance

• Work closely with billing teams, physicians, and healthcare staff to optimize coding accuracy.

• Stay updated on healthcare regulations, DHA policies, and medical coding best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
✔ Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
✔ Experience with DHA e-claims and healthcare billing systems.
✔ Attention to detail and accuracy in medical coding.
