Gokul Sweets & Restaurant L.L.C., a well-established group specializing in Indian vegetarian cuisine, is seeking a Data Entry Clerk / Junior Accountant. This role involves managing the company’s accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring smooth financial operations across multiple branches in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Maintain well-organized financial records (physical and electronic).

• Provide documentation and support for audits.

• Scan and document daily records such as contracts, cashier sales reports, and payment vouchers.

• Process online bill payments and track transactions.

• Prepare salary payable documentation.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.

• Handle other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Accountancy (preferred).

• 1+ year of relevant accounting experience (required).

• Strong understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

• Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel (essential).

• English proficiency (necessary).

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong work ethic, accountability, and the ability to optimize tasks.

• Proficiency in P.R.O. work is preferred (involves visa management).
