We are seeking a Head of Release and Deployment (Cloud Infrastructure) to lead the strategic management of software releases and deployments within a prominent organization in Abu Dhabi. This role requires extensive experience in cloud technologies, particularly CI/CD pipelines, and a commitment to continuous improvement while ensuring platform stability and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Release Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of release strategies that align with business objectives and ensure efficient software delivery.

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Platform Stability and Compliance: Oversee platform stability and ensure production environments are secure, compliant, and resilient.

• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing release and deployment team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage expectations and ensure alignment with stakeholders, including development and operations teams.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes and introduce new technologies to improve deployment efficiency and effectiveness.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with software releases, ensuring resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• UAE National with at least 10+ years of experience in similar roles.

• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
