Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, maintaining the highest hotel standards. Key Responsibilities:

Room Attendant Duties:

• Clean, replenish, and maintain guest rooms following hotel standards.

• Properly use and maintain all cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.

• Vacuum, mop floors, and thoroughly disinfect guest bathrooms.

• Make beds daily and change linens as required.

• Replace towels, toiletries, and other room amenities.

• Shampoo carpets and upholstered furniture.

• Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.

• Position and maintain cleaning trolleys in a safe and organized manner.

• Complete daily housekeeping checklists and meet assigned room quotas.

• Report any room damages, maintenance issues, lost and found items, or unusual guest activities to the supervisor.

Public Area Cleaning Duties:

• Sweep, mop, and disinfect public spaces, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.

• Clean windows, stairwells, pool areas, and other indoor/outdoor hotel facilities.

• Empty public area garbage bins and restock cleaning supplies as needed.

• Carry out additional cleaning duties assigned by the shift supervisor.

Laundry Attendant Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold hotel linens and guest laundry.

• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals following safety regulations.

• Operate laundry and dry-cleaning machines efficiently, ensuring correct chemical usage.

• Keep detailed records of laundry loads, guest laundry pickups, and deliveries.

• Ensure all guest laundry items are correctly marked, packed, and delivered on time.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment.

• Familiarity with hotel policies, hygiene, and safety regulations.

• Experience with bedmaking, laundry operations, and manual handling techniques.

• Occupational Health & Safety Certification (UAE accreditation preferred).

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle guest requests professionally.

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and a strong team player.

• High standards of hygiene, grooming, and personal presentation.
