Otis Elevator Co. is hiring a Project Engineer in Dubai to manage and oversee the pre-installation, installation, and coordination of elevator and escalator projects. This role requires strong project management, technical coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely and quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Pre-Installation & Planning:

• Ensure detailed understanding of contractual scope and requirements.

• Track material deliveries and monitor shaft readiness per approved drawings.

• Plan adequate resources, subcontractors, and logistics.

• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and consultants for approvals and compliance.

🔹 Installation & Execution:

• Ensure availability of resources and timely material inspection approvals.

• Maintain proper documentation, communication, and progress tracking via MS Projects, Primavera, or Excel.

• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

• Provide technical support to installation teams and resolve any on-site challenges.

🔹 Quality, Testing & Handover:

• Perform QA/QC inspections to align with company procedures.

• Ensure completion of low-voltage system integrations and third-party inspections.

• Coordinate T&C (Testing & Commissioning) plans to meet project deadlines.

• Oversee project budgets, cost reviews, and interim payment applications.

• Handover completed units to customers in compliance with company and project standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Education: Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
✔ Experience: Prior experience in elevator/escalator project execution is a plus.
✔ Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Projects, Primavera, AutoCAD, and technical documentation.
✔ Skills: Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities.
✔ Safety Compliance: Experience in adhering to health & safety regulations.
✔ Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
