Groupon is seeking a MD/BD Representative to join their Hotel division in Dubai. This role will focus on expanding the merchant base by acquiring large merchants, particularly within the hotel sector, while managing relationships with key decision-makers. The role is split between business development (60%) and account management (40%), with a strong emphasis on sales and negotiation skills. The representative will be responsible for handling contracts, achieving revenue goals, and ensuring smooth deal execution while providing regular performance reports.
Key Responsibilities:

Achieve revenue goals for the Hotel division by expanding the merchant base.

Develop strategies to acquire large merchants and manage key accounts.

Handle negotiations and manage contractual agreements with decision-makers.

Provide reports on sales and account performance, ensuring alignment with Groupon’s standards.

Collaborate with internal teams for smooth deal execution.

Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, bridging Groupon and merchants.
Requirements:
-
Based in Dubai, with at least 3-5 years of experience working in the UAE.

Proven experience in acquiring large merchants and managing hotel accounts.

Strong sales skills with a proactive “hunter” mentality for business development.

Comfortable with complex negotiations and high-level contractual agreements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with C-Level executives.

Highly organized, target-driven, and able to manage multiple accounts effectively.

Willingness to attend the office at least 3 days a week.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Travel and F&B sectors.

Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
