Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in pharmaceutical manufacturing to design, install, and maintain critical electrical systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with UAE and international standards, optimizing energy consumption, and troubleshooting electrical systems to minimize production downtime. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pharmaceutical-grade equipment, automation systems, and electrical safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Electrical System Design & Installation

• Design, install, and commission HVAC systems, cleanroom lighting, and power distribution in pharmaceutical environments.

• Ensure seamless integration of electrical systems in GMP-compliant facilities.

✅ Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to enhance equipment longevity.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues to minimize disruptions.

• Oversee calibration of specialized pharmaceutical equipment, including autoclaves and sterilizers.

✅ Compliance & Safety

• Develop and enforce electrical safety protocols to mitigate risks.

• Ensure adherence to UAE regulations and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, GMP).

• Participate in audits and inspections, implementing corrective actions as needed.

✅ Project & Vendor Coordination

• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents for electrical equipment.

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure high-quality components and timely delivery.

✅ Innovation & Energy Optimization

• Implement automation technologies (PLCs, SCADA) to enhance efficiency.

• Monitor and optimize energy consumption in temperature-controlled storage and pharmaceutical production systems.

• Support validation protocols to meet GMP and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
✔ 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering within pharmaceutical, FMCG, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
✔ Expertise in electrical design, maintenance, and energy optimization for pharmaceutical systems.
✔ Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes and international standards.
✔ Proficiency in automation systems, PLCs, SCADA, and pharmaceutical equipment requirements.
✔ Hands-on experience with electrical design and analysis software.
✔ Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
