IFF, a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, is seeking an entry-level Lab Assistant to support technical teams in conducting laboratory experiments and analysis. This role involves sample preparation, analytical testing, extractions, and instrument maintenance, while ensuring compliance with lab safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Conduct laboratory procedures including sample evaluation, extractions, and analytical testing (pH, Karl-Fisher, etc.).
✅ Assist in basic operation and maintenance of GC-FID and GC-MS instruments.
✅ Maintain lab supplies, instruments, and records to ensure smooth workflow.
✅ Follow strict laboratory safety protocols and keep work areas organized.
✅ Develop olfactive and taste discrimination skills for flavor assessment.
✅ Manage time efficiently and coordinate tasks under supervisor guidance.
✅ Identify and practice safe laboratory procedures in daily tasks.

Job Requirements:

📌 Education & Experience:

• College degree or equivalent certification in Science & Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Ongoing education towards a BS degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and chemical processes.
