Job Title: Accounts Receivable Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant with a background in pharma distribution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing invoicing, collections, and financial records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

📑 Accounts Receivable Management

• Oversee the invoicing, collections, and application of payments as per customer instructions.
• Create and send invoices, debit notes, and credit notes to customers on time.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment issues with customers.
• Apply cash/bank receipts to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.

📊 Financial Records & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable aging reports.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting processes.

🤝 Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with warehouse and sales teams to resolve customer billing and payment inquiries.

Skills & Qualifications:

🎓 Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Accountant, preferably in pharma distribution.
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting practices and regulations (preferred).

💻 Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

✔ Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Primary Condition:

• Must currently be in Dubai.
• Female candidates preferred.
