Fortes Education, a leading education provider in the UAE, is hiring an English Language Learning (ELL) Support Assistant for Sunmarke School in Dubai. This full-time role involves supporting Primary students who are new to the English language, working closely with teachers and the ELL team to enhance student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Provide in-class support for ELL students during mainstream lessons.
✅ Assist students in understanding and completing tasks based on their English proficiency.
✅ Work with class teachers to ensure lesson accessibility and differentiation.
✅ Deliver small group lessons with provided ELL materials.
✅ Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
✅ Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
✅ Promote student engagement and independence.
✅ Support classroom management and productive learning activities.
✅ Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in an international school.
• Experience with UK education system or curriculum (preferred).

✔ Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of the British Curriculum, especially in Maths and Science.
• Experience working with children with language barriers.
• Ability to differentiate learning materials and tailor teaching strategies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with students and staff.
• Team player with flexibility and adaptability.
• Understanding of child development and student well-being support.
