The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD) is seeking a Specialist – Environment Policy and Regulations to develop and implement environmental policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure government strategies align with environmental objectives.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Develop environment-wide policies and regulations through stakeholder engagement.
✅ Review government policies, strategies, and regulations to integrate environmental considerations.
✅ Conduct multi-criteria analysis to support policy recommendations.
✅ Facilitate meetings and discussions with decision-makers and stakeholders.
✅ Draft position papers and technical reports to support policy development.
✅ Provide advice and recommendations on environmental policies to EAD leadership.
✅ Collaborate with Environmental Quality, Terrestrial & Marine Biodiversity Sectors.

🔹 Requirements:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
📅 3 to 5 years of experience in environmental policy and regulations.
🤝 Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
📊 Ability to conduct policy analysis and report writing.
