Velosi Integrity & Safety Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work on power generation and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires expertise in electrical system design, load calculations, UPS systems, hazardous area classification, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Electrical System Design & Engineering:
✔ Design MV/LV Switchgear/MCC with all applicable protections.
✔ Develop Load Lists, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Control Schematics, and Cable Schedules.
✔ Perform lighting calculations and illumination studies using DIALux/Calculux software.
✔ Design UPS systems to support essential plant loads.

🔹 Project & Documentation Management:
✔ Prepare specifications & datasheets for generators, transformers, switchgear, and grounding systems.
✔ Ensure compliance with IEC, API, NFPA, and IEEE standards.
✔ Conduct design calculations, feasibility studies, and technical reports.

🔹 Collaboration & Technical Support:
✔ Assist in bid proposals, cost estimation, and technical queries.
✔ Participate in project review meetings, vendor meetings, and site inspections.
✔ Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting.

🔹 Quality & Compliance Assurance:
✔ Develop Inspection Plans and Management Strategies.
✔ Conduct FAT inspections, gap assessments, and audits.
✔ Ensure technical documentation accuracy and compliance with functional integrity.

Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Education & Experience:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
✔ Proven experience in electrical design and engineering for power distribution systems.

✅ Technical & Soft Skills:
✔ Proficiency in DIALux, Calculux, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
✔ Strong understanding of IEC, API, NFPA, and IEEE standards.
✔ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
