Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking a Lab Assistant for its Faculty of Applied Media. The role involves supporting faculty and students by maintaining laboratories and workshops, ensuring smooth operations of technical equipment, and providing audio-visual support during college events. The candidate should be technically proficient and able to demonstrate, troubleshoot, and maintain media-related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Lab & Equipment Maintenance: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot technical equipment in media labs and workshops.
✅ Student & Faculty Support: Assist faculty in demonstrating media tools and supporting students with lab work.
✅ AV Support: Provide audio-visual assistance and oversee the AV control room for college events.
✅ Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware and software issues related to media lab equipment.
✅ Operational Assistance: Ensure labs are well-equipped and support in setting up media-related projects.

Eligibility Criteria:

🔹 Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Media, IT, or a related field.
• Previous experience in media labs, AV control, or IT support is preferred.

🔹 Technical & Soft Skills:

• Proficiency in media software & equipment troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of AV systems, digital media tools, and lab operations.
• Strong organizational & problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support faculty & students effectively.
