Role Summary:
Rosewood Abu Dhabi is looking for a professional and courteous Waiter/Waitress (Majlis) to join its Food & Beverage team. This role involves delivering prompt, efficient service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area—all in alignment with Rosewood and LQA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages as per hotel standards.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of menus, beverages, table settings, POS systems, and local liquor laws.

• Set and reset tables, prepare side stations, and handle all mise en place duties.

• Guide and supervise bus persons where applicable.

• Adhere to brand and LQA service standards at all times.

• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and proper maintenance of the restaurant and service equipment.

• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.

• Complete opening and closing side duties including stocking supplies, folding napkins, and storing reusable goods.

• Accurately process guest payments and follow all cash handling procedures.

• Represent Rosewood with a friendly and helpful attitude while delivering superior guest service.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end hospitality environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of POS systems and restaurant service procedures.

• Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail, speed, and organization.

• Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.

• Minimum age 21 (to serve alcohol).

• Physically able to perform extensive standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
