Yellow Door Energy is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Finance and M&A to lead its financial strategy as the company expands across the Middle East and Africa. This senior leadership role focuses on debt financing, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), capital structuring, and financial risk management, ensuring the company’s long-term financial sustainability. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders (Finance, Business Development, Legal, Risk, Operations) and external partners (banks, DFIs, equity investors, and advisors).
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute corporate finance strategies, securing debt financing and optimizing capital structures.

Identify and lead M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.

Manage financial modeling, forecasting, and investment analysis to support corporate decision-making.

Oversee risk management frameworks, treasury operations, and liquidity management.

Serve as the financial spokesperson at investor meetings and industry forums.

Build and lead a high-performing corporate finance team.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
✅ Essential:
-
Master’s degree (MBA, Finance, Accounting); CFA/CPA preferred.

10–15 years of experience in corporate finance, project finance, M&A, and capital markets.

5+ years in a senior finance leadership role.

Experience working with banks and financial institutions in the Middle East and/or South Africa.
✅ Preferred:

Background in renewable energy, infrastructure, or emerging markets.

Proven track record in cross-border financial transactions.

Ability to lead diverse teams and influence executive stakeholders.
