AECOM, a global leader in infrastructure consulting, is seeking an Urban Planner II for its Abu Dhabi office. This full-time hybrid role involves supporting the development of creative, contextually responsive, and economically viable urban planning solutions across strategic, spatial, and master planning projects. The candidate will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, assist with project coordination, and liaise with government agencies to ensure project compliance and approval. Strong analytical skills and experience in urban economics or housing are advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and administrative support on strategic planning, land use, and master planning projects

• Collaborate with planners, urban designers, landscape architects, and engineers

• Prepare presentations for clients, stakeholders, and government authorities

• Liaise with government agencies regarding development objectives and policies

• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance standards

• Assist senior management with business development and recruitment

• Manage relationships with clients and local authorities

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related discipline (economics, geography, urban design, architecture)

• 3-5 years of relevant Urban Planning experience, ideally with both private sector and government exposure

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite

• Valid driver’s license
