Marriott International is seeking a Telephone Operator to join their Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort team in Dubai. This role focuses on handling all guest calls, requests, and inquiries, ensuring a seamless communication experience. The Telephone Operator serves as a key point of contact for guests, providing assistance, information, and support to enhance guest satisfaction while maintaining operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer, record, log, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.

• Operate the telephone switchboard and process requests such as wake-up calls, call forwarding, do not disturb, conference calls, and non-registered guest calls.

• Relay messages accurately, activate/deactivate guest room message lights, and provide guidance on internet access.

• Respond to special requests and contact the appropriate department to resolve guest inquiries.

• Monitor busy or unanswered lines and follow up with guests as needed.

• Dispatch bell or valet staff as required.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance, and protect company assets.

• Welcome and assist guests in alignment with company standards, including supporting individuals with disabilities.

• Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and comply with quality assurance standards.

• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

• No prior related work experience required.

• No supervisory experience required.

• Strong communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and handle objects up to 10 pounds.
