RGG Capital is a private investment office dedicated to deploying capital through systematic trading strategies driven by proprietary AI. Based in tax-free Dubai, the firm is establishing an ultra-innovative trading desk that integrates a bespoke Large Language Model (LLM) for alpha generation.

We’re looking for a visionary Systematic Trader (Head of Desk / Senior PM Level) to lead the buildout of this next-gen trading function. With a mandate to generate and scale high-frequency, event-driven strategies across commodities and equities, this position blends leadership, innovation, and direct P&L ownership. You’ll partner directly with the CEO and CIO while building and mentoring a quantitative team to convert advanced ML insights into real-time trading performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead a proprietary LLM-powered systematic trading desk.
• Own full P&L responsibility for a $10M–$50M+ AUM portfolio, with expansion based on performance.
• Design and implement HFT, low-latency, and event-driven strategies across multiple asset classes.
• Develop a robust risk management framework tailored for systematic portfolios.
• Collaborate with internal AI/ML teams to shape alpha-generating signals.
• Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of quantitative professionals.
• Continuously improve trading models using real-time feedback and statistical analysis.

Candidate Requirements:

Required:

• 5+ years of proven systematic P&L generation in commodities and/or equities.
• Experience running and scaling portfolios of $10M+ using quantitative strategies.
• Proficiency in Python for algorithm development, research, and backtesting.
• Deep knowledge of market microstructure, real-time risk controls, and HFT environments.
• Demonstrated collaboration with AI/ML teams on predictive model integration.

Preferred:

• Experience building a systematic trading desk or launching new strategies from scratch.
• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with LLMs or advanced AI integration in trading systems.
