Golden Cart, a premium supermarket located in the fast-growing and affluent neighborhood of Houshi, Sharjah, is hiring a Supermarket Cashier. Golden Cart is known for providing high-quality groceries, food, beverages, household items, personal care products, and exceptional customer service.

We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Cashier to deliver fast, accurate, and friendly checkout experiences. The role involves handling cash and card transactions, maintaining checkout operations, and ensuring smooth customer service. This is a full-time, on-site position with rotational shifts (weekdays, weekends, and holidays).

Salary: AED 2,500 – AED 3,000
Nationality Requirement: Arab
Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and process purchases accurately via cash, card, or contactless payments.

• Operate POS systems, barcode scanners, and printers.

• Handle returns, exchanges, discounts, and loyalty redemptions per store policy.

• Maintain cash float and perform end-of-shift reconciliation.

• Keep checkout counters clean, tidy, and stocked with bags and labels.

• Assist with queue management and bagging during peak hours.

• Resolve customer queries or escalate to Duty Manager.

• Follow store procedures on loss prevention, privacy, and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cashier or in retail.

• Currently based in the UAE and ready to join immediately.

• Strong POS and basic math skills; high accuracy and attention to detail.

• Clear communication skills in Arabic and English.

• Customer-first mindset, calm under pressure, reliable and punctual.

• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Previous experience in supermarkets or FMCG retail.

• Familiarity with VAT receipts and cash-handling procedures.
