About the Role:

Our award-winning architectural design consultancy client is seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This is a direct hire opportunity to work on prestigious high-rise and vertical construction projects across the UAE and GCC.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in structural design for large-scale vertical buildings, preferably with experience in recognized PMC, developer, or engineering consultancy firms within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage structural design processes for steel and concrete structures, ensuring compliance with international and regional standards (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes).

• Develop and supervise engineering deliverables that meet customer requirements including design scope, budgets, schedules, and reporting.

• Prepare and review detailed design drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, and Robot.

• Coordinate closely with architectural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure integrated, clash-free designs.

• Provide technical guidance throughout design development, tendering, and construction phases.

• Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and ensure designs meet local authority regulations and building codes.

• Mentor junior engineers and designers to uphold quality and project timelines.

• Participate in client and contractor coordination meetings, contributing to project success.

• Assist in preparing BOQs, technical reports, and design calculations for submissions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering (MSc preferred).

• Minimum 7 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering focused on vertical construction.

• At least 2 years of experience on major high-rise projects in the UAE, preferably with PMC, developer, or consultancy firms.

• Proficient with structural design and analysis tools: AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, Tekla.

• Strong knowledge of international codes and local building regulations.

• Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary & Benefits:

AED 18,000 – 25,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
