InterContinental Abu Dhabi, part of the global IHG Hotels & Resorts brand, is hiring a Steward to join its culinary team. In this essential back-of-house role, you will ensure that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and areas remain clean, sanitary, and organized. You’ll support the chefs and kitchen team by maintaining hygiene and helping ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas using dishwashers or manual methods

• Perform general cleaning duties, including floors, walls, and waste disposal

• Ensure utensils and kitchen tools are properly stored after cleaning

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in storerooms and segregate clean/dirty items properly

• Refill supplies (soap, paper towels, sanitizer) as needed

• Follow HACCP standards and food safety procedures

• Assist during busy kitchen hours under the guidance of the Stewarding Supervisor or Chef

✨ Requirements:

• Prior experience in a stewarding or cleaning role preferred but not mandatory

• Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for long shifts

• Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene practices

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
