Teleperformance (TP) is hiring a Somali Interpreter for a full-time remote role, open exclusively to candidates currently residing in the United Arab Emirates. This position requires fluency in Somali and English to support real-time interpreting of phone and video conversations. As part of a global customer service and support company, the interpreter will assist professionals in healthcare, education, and customer service contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret conversations from English to Somali and vice versa

• Provide real-time translation over audio or video calls

• Assist in professional settings such as hospitals, schools, or customer service centers

• Support communication between healthcare workers and patients, or customers and service providers

Skills & Requirements:

• Fluent in Somali and English (English fluency is mandatory)

• Experience or background in translation, medical, or customer service is an advantage

• Ability to work from home in a quiet and distraction-free environment

• Stable internet connection and a dedicated workspace

• Flexibility to work rotational shifts (5 days a week, 9 hours/day including 1-hour break)

• Comfortable working night shifts if required

Qualifications:

• Prior interpreter certification is a plus

• Medical background preferred but not required

• Strong communication and listening skills
