Scott Bader is looking for an experienced and passionate SHE Manager to lead the safety, health, environmental, and sustainability initiatives at its Dubai operations. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a professional ready to champion behavioural safety, implement environmental strategies, and cultivate a culture of responsibility and care across all levels of the organization.

As the SHE Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting best practices to ensure employee safety and environmental responsibility. You’ll also contribute to global sustainability goals through local initiatives focused on energy efficiency, biodiversity, and waste reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all SHE (Safety, Health, Environmental) programs ensuring full regulatory compliance and maintaining strong relationships with regulators.

  • Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, managing a structured SHE Improvement Plan.

  • Develop and maintain Safe Systems of Work, including Permit to Work and Management of Change protocols.

  • Conduct structured incident investigations and implement corrective actions based on root cause analysis.

  • Manage SHEQ Management Systems in compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and Lloyd’s certifications.

  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits.

  • Promote a zero-LTA (Lost Time Accident) culture through behavioural safety leadership.

  • Deliver hands-on training in collaboration with HR to embed a safety-first culture at every level.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field, along with a formal safety qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.

  • Deep knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001) and Process Safety Management (PSM).

  • Familiarity with 5S and 7W lean tools.

  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.

  • A proactive and structured mindset, capable of driving safety engagement and meaningful cultural change.
