Job Description:

EMS-Emirates is looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in sustainable design and green building certifications, especially LEED (BD+C). This role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the sustainability compliance of building projects, performing energy system analysis, and leading sustainability assessments. The Senior Sustainability Consultant will also engage with clients and local authorities, providing expertise on green strategies and certifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform energy system analysis and ensure design compliance with sustainability criteria.

• Conduct energy modeling, daylight simulations, and work with certifications such as LEED, Estidama, WELL, Trakhees, and Sa’afat (preferred but not mandatory).

• Lead sustainability assessments and collaborate with clients, contractors, and local authorities.

• Assist in preparing project green strategies and presentations.

• Attend site meetings and inspect the green building implementation during construction.

• Review green material submittals, prepare site inspection reports, and conduct independent commissioning activities.

• Perform specialized inspections like thermography surveys, air tightness testing, and building envelope commissioning (preferred but not mandatory).

• Research and develop innovative ideas to enhance EMS services.

• Support the team during proposal preparation and client meetings.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in sustainable design and green building systems.

• Proficiency in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), with a specialization in BD+C.

• Familiarity with other green building codes (e.g., Estidama, WELL, Mostadam, Breeam, Envision).

• Experience with energy system analysis, modeling, and simulation tools.

• Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.

• Ability to lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with energy system modeling and simulation tools.

• Familiarity with thermography surveys, air tightness testing, and building envelope commissioning (preferred but not mandatory).
