IBM is at the forefront of digital transformation and cybersecurity innovation. As part of its commitment to securing client infrastructures, IBM’s Penetration Testing team is expanding. We are seeking a Senior Offensive Security Consultant to join our cybersecurity services division. This role is ideal for passionate red team professionals with proven expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability research, and adversary emulation. You will play a pivotal role in simulating cyberattacks, identifying system vulnerabilities, and strengthening the defense capabilities of high-profile clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute advanced penetration tests and red team engagements simulating real-world attack scenarios

Develop, test, and deploy custom offensive tools and automation scripts

Collaborate with blue teams to help identify and resolve security gaps in systems and applications

Conduct adversary emulation, threat modeling, and contribute to enhancing detection and response mechanisms

Research and track emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and tactics used by threat actors

Deliver detailed reports and articulate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, in English and Arabic
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Strong knowledge of security testing methodologies (OWASP, NIST, PTES) and network security concepts

Proficiency with offensive security tools: Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, etc.

Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby)

Proven ability to discover and exploit vulnerabilities across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS, web, cloud)

Strong understanding of risk management and ability to communicate risks effectively

Relevant certifications preferred: OSCP, CEH, GPEN

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or related cybersecurity roles
