Egis, a global leader in consulting, construction engineering, and mobility services, is seeking a Senior Document Controller to join its Dubai team. This role is critical in managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting project teams with efficient document workflows. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects that prioritize sustainability, innovation, and development across the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:

Establish and manage a comprehensive document control system for all project-related documentation.

Receive, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents promptly.

Ensure documents are properly filed, stored, and easily accessible.

Maintain and update document registers, databases, and archives.
-
Implement and monitor document control procedures and workflows.

Collaborate with project teams to manage document version control and revisions.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control standards.

Train and support staff on document control systems and procedures.

Assist in implementing and maintaining electronic document management systems (EDMS).

Prepare and distribute project-related reports, presentations, and materials.

Stay updated on industry regulations and standards applicable to document control in Dubai and the UAE.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in document control within construction, engineering, or related industries.

Proficiency in EDMS systems (e.g., UNIFER) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong knowledge of document control processes, industry standards, and best practices.

Excellent organizational, time management, and detail-orientation skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Experience with database management, filing, and archiving systems.

Document Control certification (e.g., IDCA) preferred.

Familiarity with Dubai/UAE industry regulations and compliance standards.

Ability to multitask, adapt to changing requirements, and work both independently and collaboratively.
