Join a leading packaging services company in the UAE as a Senior Accountant, where your expertise will drive financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to manage key accounting functions and lead a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily accounting operations: AP/AR, general ledger, and reporting.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.

• Analyze and interpret financial statements to optimize processes and reporting.

• Coordinate and support annual audits by maintaining organized financial records.

• Provide top-level management with reliable financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

• Monitor and implement compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Conduct internal audits and recommend improvements for financial controls.

• Stay current with accounting standards and industry best practices.

• Develop and implement internal accounting policies and SOPs.

• Mentor junior accountants and oversee daily performance with leadership and guidance.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA preferred.

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in trading, logistics, or transport.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and UAE regulatory standards.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).

• Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
