Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer for the 2nd Shift (Swing Shift) in Bloomington, IL. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in military or law enforcement, and for those who thrive in fast-paced environments where integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness are key values.

Job Responsibilities:
🔒 Provide security patrols inside and outside client premises.
🔍 Maintain vigilance and report any safety or suspicious incidents promptly.
👥 Interact with employees and guests, resolving conflict and de-escalating situations.
📝 Write detailed and accurate incident/witness reports.
🛑 Identify hazardous conditions and contribute to overall site safety.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Valid IL Driver’s License with clean driving record.

• Must be physically capable of patrolling throughout the shift.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.

• Intermediate computer skills preferred.

• Prior security experience is a plus.

• Must pass a background check.

Shift & Compensation:

• Shift: 2nd Shift (Swing Shift)

• Pay: $18.50 per hour
