Job Title: Security & Control Room Officer 

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security & Control Room Officer to join the operations team for the Dubai Tram – Al Sufouh System. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring all areas of the tram system, ensuring passenger safety, managing security incidents, and communicating critical information between the control center, field teams, and external security agencies.

This position demands sharp situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make fast, informed decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security across all tram system zones: stations, depots, offices, car parks, and auxiliary buildings.

• Use CCTV and communication tools to detect and manage incidents including vandalism, fare evasion, and other unauthorized activities.

• Direct and coordinate with Customer Service Operators and Tram Drivers to handle events and ensure smooth operations.

• Act as a liaison between the control center and Dubai Police, security forces, and government entities.

• Access and manage CCTV and telecom recording systems for investigations.

• Communicate timely and accurate information to passengers at stations and on board trams.

• Assist the Chief Controller with external communications and incident coordination.

• Monitor station systems including elevators, escalators, ticketing machines, and fire alarms.

• Perform shift-based duties, emergency response tasks, and other responsibilities as directed.

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) policies and Information Security protocols.

• Promote a strong culture of safety, sustainability, and data protection within the team and across all operations.

• Conserve resources, reduce waste, and report process improvements to support environmental initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong ability to multitask and manage operations under pressure in a high-stakes environment.

• Solid understanding of security protocols and technical systems including CCTV and IT tools.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Flexible, reliable, and capable of responding quickly to emergencies or abnormal situations.

• Holds a valid UAE driving license with safe driving experience.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
