Job Overview:
The Resident Engineer – Civil (Substation) will manage the civil engineering aspects of high-voltage substation projects (400kV / 220kV / 132kV) across the UAE. The role involves supervising construction, ensuring compliance with design, quality, safety, and contractual requirements, and coordinating with contractors, clients, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (approved by UAE regulatory authorities).

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with substantial experience in substation projects in the UAE.

• Strong technical expertise in civil design and construction of substations.

• Experience in contractor supervision, quality assurance, and project delivery.

• Familiarity with UAE authority and utility standards.

• Prior experience with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA, or other major UAE utilities preferred.
