Our client, a leading residential apartment developer in Dubai, is hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor & Estimator cum Purchaser. This dual-role opportunity combines cost estimation, budgeting, quantity surveying, and procurement. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial and material efficiency of residential construction projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveying & Estimation:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs from project drawings/specs.

• Support tendering processes by preparing accurate documentation and cost breakdowns.

• Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations and assist with negotiations.

• Monitor budget variations, track project costs, and submit regular reports.

• Conduct site inspections to validate quantities and compliance with specifications.

Procurement & Purchasing:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for construction materials, tools, and services.

• Create and manage purchase orders, delivery tracking, and logistics.

• Ensure timely material availability aligned with project schedules.

• Maintain and update vendor databases, track performance, and manage relationships.

• Coordinate with project/site teams to ensure timely procurement aligned with budgets and specs.

✅ Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience in QS and procurement (preferably in residential construction).

• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with cost estimation tools is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of construction materials, market rates, and UAE procurement norms.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and time management skills.

• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

💰 Salary:

AED 8,000/month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
