Al Douri Group is seeking a Quality Control Officer to ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across its manufacturing processes. The role involves close collaboration with the Food Safety Team Leader, implementing regulatory compliance, monitoring production quality, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong food safety knowledge, HACCP/ISO certifications, and hands-on experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Food Safety Team Leader (FSTL) to resolve quality and food safety concerns.

• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and internal manufacturing standards.

• Monitor quality testing sampling plans, third-party testing, and accurate documentation.

• Supervise hygiene staff and liaise with pest control providers.

• Verify labels, ingredients, and nutritional information during product development.

• Draft and finalize finished goods specifications in compliance with regulations.

• Conduct and track food safety training for factory staff and new joiners.

• Coordinate shift allocations, attendance, and overtime reports for QC & hygiene teams.

• Support root cause analysis and maintain customer complaint trackers.

• Oversee calibration of third-party instruments in collaboration with maintenance.

• Maintain certification compliance and support annual mock recalls and traceability exercises.

• Provide backup support to the Food Safety Team Leader during absences.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• HACCP Level 3 or 4 certified.

• FSSC 22000:2018 internal auditor qualification.

• ISO 22000:2018 internal auditor qualification.

• Strong knowledge of GMP/GHP in manufacturing.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (quality operations).

• Excellent documentation, training, and process improvement skills.
